getting balance transfer card.
if you get one of these then cancel after you paid down your debt, will this hurt your score?
someone suggested just opening balance xfer card, then next year if you didn't pay it off open another balance xfer card.
my only issues is i rather not have that many CC.
The best way to get out of CC debt is to use the debt snowball approach. You pay the minimum on all but the cards with the smallest balance, and on that card, pay extra till it is PIF and then attack the next smallest balance till it is PIF, etc.
Some tough credit love. From your post you seem to be a smaller version of me, debt wise, before I got smart and cleaned up my CC debt act. You need to get tough and I would forget any more BTs. 14k of CC debt will become 30k of CC debt so fast you won't even see it happen.
I would recommend a DMP program which will most likely lower your interest rates, give you a clear path out of CC debt and also prevent you from doing further damage.
