while you are considering what to do slap that extra cash into an on-line savings account that hooks up to your checking account . Some one reputable like Emigrant Direct or ING. Then when you decide what to do you can transfer to checking and pay. Emigrant is at 2.75 right now and ING is at 3%. Don't be hasty but I would pay that medical bill before it goes to collection.
