I have 3 "general credit issues"...they are experian, equifax and transunion...

I need so much guidance here.

1.  On all three reports my student loan is reporting twice, for the same loan.  One listing says that it was "voluntary withdrawn in bankruptcy", the second says that I defaulted three years later for 150 days.  How can I default when it was three years after it was withdrawn?  How should I go about getting those off?  Do I try to get them both off or just one?

2.  anyone have luck with GW for capital one 30 days and American Honda Finance 30 days?

3.  My bankruptcy was a chapter 7 filed in 7/2001 discharged in 10/2001.  It doesn't show up on Transunion at all, shows up on EQ as filed and on EX and just discharged.  Do you think it's pulling down the score on the one that it is just filed, not showing discharge?  Or should I leave well enough alone?

4.  I have collections with no name just numbers and letters with no address as to whom they are from.  How should I go about getting them off?

5. I have a collection showing up as a revolving credit account that is 150 days late.  Can they do that?  how do I get it listed as a collection?

6.  Who do I goodwill for a medical collection?  The doctor/hospital or the CA?

THANK YOU IN ADVANCE FOR ANY ADVISE.  IT IS MUCH APPRECIATED!!!

Hi Iyssa29, I see you trying to get a late removed from Cap1. How long ago has it been since the late?

I recently had 3 lates with them dated 30day 12-06, 60day 1-07 & 30day 5/07... I sent them a GW and they remove one 30day 12-06 & the 60day 1-07...   They left the recent 30day but i'm planning to send them another GW once its a yr. old

Re: I have 3 "general credit issues"...they are experian, equifax and transunion...

I have 2 Capital One's both for only $500.  I pay them every month.  I used to have to log into my 2 cards seperately online to pay and in Sept 2005 I logged into my first card twice and paid it twice, neglecting my second card that month accidentally.  They called me and I paid right then on the phone, but they still reported it as 30 days.  I sent a GW begging them to take it off and said I was confused by the online system, since at that time, I couldn't consolidate my cards to one account.  I haven't had any lates before or after that one either card.  I hope that helps.

That's the address I sent mine to as well.  I tried to call and work my charm (& pity) over on a rep, but everytime they told me to send it to that address.  I guess I'll just wait and see with that one.  I'll let you know what/when I hear back from them.

I have a renewed hope now that  I've heard it worked for you.
