I need an Expert! Can Debt buyers refuse to validate?

Can a debt buyer refuse to VALIDATE a debt if they in turn farm the collection out to another CA? The debt buyer wouldn't be regarded as the OC correct? Please clarify. Thanks

The debt buyer is reporting not the CA they have contracted with. The debt buyer refuses to even speak to me. They just refer me to their CA. I know they are in violation of FDCPA but don't know what to do next!!

I'd fire off another letter to them, informing them that you are STILL waiting for proper validation, and that they are in violation of FCRA/FDCPA by their actions

JDB are debt collectors under FDCPA.

Ergo, JDBs must validate even though they bought the debt.
