Hi all,
I have 3 30 day lates from MLN from 2006. I was getting ready to do the GW thingy when I went on line to do my research and found that they are just this side of going under. They are no longer taking any new business on and are involved in a ton of legal battles. I no longer have any dealings with them as I refinanced away from these folks at my first opportunity. I am afraid they will go under before I have a chance to GW them leaving me with no recourse.
Any ideas?
Hello. I would still try the GW letters first, but if they did "go under" so to speak, a simple dispute to the CBR's would likely return unable to validate and then be summarily deleted. Have seen a lot of valid lates disappear on these forums due to the same circumstances. Good luck.

Thanks. I'm going to send the Goodwill letters, to the 2 address I found on my CRs, CMRRR. The phone number listed on the CRs is disconnected and no forwarding number is available. I did a Google news search on this company and they went bankrupt in February of 2007. I'm waiting for the letters to come back undeliverable and then I'm going to dispute.
10/16 Update. Disputed with all 3 yesterday. TU has already deleted. Waiting for answer from EQ and EX.
10/26 Update. Letter from Equifax. Results: "This item has been deleted from your credit file."
I wonder how long until I see the bump? It was good for 24 points with TU.
Great job. Good luck with the deletes. Should work out for you. Now if only Cap1 would just DIE!!!!
