Re: I totally give up

Thank you all so much for your replies. I know this isn't going to happen over night, i was just so frustrated that i disputed an account reporting inaccurate and it came back verified, along with the gw letters getting turned down, i just felt like giving up completely. Its a long road but i know having good credit is very important. It can get very frustrating, but i wont let that stop me. I think I'm just thinking about it too much.

It sometimes takes continued work, different tactics, and just lots of patience and persistance.  Not everyone gets great results or any results at all on the first try.  Don't let getting this done follow you along thru every hour of every day!  Put it aside and come back to it another day.

Getting something come back verified when you know it is not is very upsetting.  Dispute again in writing and if they verify again, take it to MOV letter.  Keep sending the GWs and see if you can find a specific person or department at the company to send it too.  Consider writing them thru PFB as well.

But really... it's almost the new year.  Take a few days off to enjoy it and destress.  Then come back and get back on the ball.  You can't quit... we're too much fun here.... it's not allowed!  Smiley Happy

Re: I totally give up

Everyone here is right. It does get overwhelming and you do get frustrated but it will happen. I would like you to take a look at my "repair plan" thread, and then look at the footer of this message. I have a rats nest for a credit report and it's happening for me. I agree that starting a new positive TL is the best first step. Get a secured card, spend $20 on it every so often and build that positive history. I think you will be amazed with what that 1 thing will do for you. In the meantime, keep up the hard work with the GW letters, etc. Once you see some results, it will renew your confidence, I promise.

Please check out my crappy credit. I hope it makes you feel better. Smiley Wink

Now look below to see what the results have been so far. Keep your chin up!
