Re: I've got free access to my Experian Report

All the monitoring services give real credit reports. Just FAKO scores for most.

Re: I've got free access to my Experian Report

I've been checking my EX daily since I started disputing back in May. I completed investigation #6 at the end of last month. I fear I won't be able to check this anymore as I'm about out of things I can dispute anymore lol....

I paid money to EX last week, and I only have one hard inq showing--no softs. This was from a link on Quicken that gave me a freebie. Does this mean that I don't have a real EX report, or does this mean that I am so insignificant that no one is bothering to check up on me? I did opt out several months ago.
My bad, I was looking at the freebie from EX. The one I paid for from the actual EX site has softs. The freebie does not.

The stacks o' reports are getting a bit out of hand.

They may be real, but they're not full. They don't show the softs, and there's a lot less detail than on the real things.

Hi.  Question.  When you say they give a lot less detail than the real thing, how do you get the ones with the detail?  I am having this trouble.  Both annualcredit report and when I dispute through Experian.com I can get prior address # and ss # variations, that I don't see through MyFico or 3-in-1 reports.  But I have not yet found the "real" thing for EQ or TU - although I have not purchased a single report direct from their sites.  Is that the only way?  TU annualcreditreport does NOT list the same historical personal data.

I haven't compared the rest yet, but I'd be concerned about missing TLs, contact info or other detail as well.

Thanks.

Re: I've got free access to my Experian Report

I personally think the transunion dispute report is the best one with alot of information.  Im not sure but I think everytime you dispute something on your TU report you get to see a free copy of your report.  I just go to the TU site and request a online dispute and it will show your entire report with alot of info posted.  All the phone numbers, address's and time expected to drop off your report.  I just print it and save it.  I have tried alot of the different monitoring sites, but none of them have any where near the info as TU diputes does.  Even if you can only do it a couple times its nice to have just for all the contact info on it.

Re: I've got free access to my Experian Report

Thanks.  I did try the TU dispute report.  And it did have good detail on my TLs.  But still not seeing the address/ssn info.  However, it is possible that info is just not incorrect on my TU report at this time.  All my current info looks good - and it does show 2 previous addresses through the last 6 or 7 years.  But not prior - maybe they just roll off?  Although other reports go back way farther than that.  But so long as they're accurate, I guess I don't care too much.
