This message is to immediately alert every member. I received a letter from my bank. Every visa credit card and every visa debit card has been compromised due to a hacker intrusion into a processor authorization system. I checked with my credit union as well. My card is also compromised. This is affecting over one million cards. So please contact your financial institution immediately to check with what is going on.

Thank you for the information!
I have heard a recording when I call my credit union, something about concern over the cc.
I think I was blessed -- none of my accounts appear to be affected. I do check on a very regular basis though, just to stay on top of things.

Really? Just one million? Surely there are millions and millions of Visa cards around the planet?
Just checked my cards, and nothing there. And there wasn't a peep when I Googled on visa.
I know there was a thing last month with Heartland, but it affected both Visa and MC.
I hope your card turns out to be OK.
I checked visa.com and didn't see a peep about this anywhere there, either.
CreditBob, can you provide the link to the specific webpage that talks about this issue?
Unfortunately, I'm a victim. I learned yesterday that some scum bags made a ton of fraudulent online charges using my CITI Dividends Master Card. According to CITI, these charges originated in Israel, Cyprus and Great Britain. New pending charges are still coming in and CITI has closed my account. The link below might explain what happened.
