Hi Everyone,
Brand new here, I was wondering, since I'm now paying for myFico, would you recommend deleting Credit Karma?
Check the hard copies of your Equifax and TransUnion credit reports. Credit Karma soft pulls those reports at least once a week in order to provide your VantageScore 3.0 scores, and over time this could potentially increase your report size and result in problems like split files(soft pulls are usually not visible in online credit reports). Plus, you have no idea what Credit Karma is doing with the data the accumulate...since its a free service they must generate revenue somehow.

I thought their revenue was generated through pushing Credit Cards and Loans.
but then again, I guess its possible to sell your data
Split files are mostly a thing of the past when the bureaus storaged your data on 1980s era computers. Data storage is so cheap now (because of competition) your credit file could potentially be terabytes and would not even cause the slightest hiccup. 3 different divisions of Amex soft pulls me every single week. My Experian report has hundreds of pulls just for Amex soft pulls. The pulls are listed in three columns and they still take up several pages when I print my paper report.
I really like using myFico, whish I would of found this earlier, such a great service and brings me peace of mind, and more accurate then Credit Karma.
Thanks, I'll just use myFico and delete Credit Karma.

Can you call EQ and get them out of the 1980's?
