I believe you must contact each bureau individually, they don't share info. That's why it's recommended to view all 3 reports. One bureau maybe reporting items that another bureau isn't. For example: I have one collection account showing with TransUnion but not with Experian or Equifax.  After it's deleted, I would contact the other 2 bureaus asking for removal or ask the creditor who is removing the late payment to call the 3 bureaus to update their records.

mnegron1969 is correct. EQ, EX, and TU doesn't share information.

You'll either need to dispute with all 3 or the creditor will have to update.

I must be really lucky then. I disputes a late payment with experian & about a month later it was removed from all the 3 CRA's.

It was because the dispute, somehow, got back to the OC, and they directed its deletion to the other CRAs.

Disputing lates could lead to a number of problems like the deletion of the TL (causing a change in util, history, and/or mix of credit) or if you had other non-reported lates, then the creditor could add lates.

When you dispute anything about a TL, the creditor reporting is notified. Looks like your creditor went ahead and requested it to be removed from the other two for you.

that is a tricky one because i was actually a victim of id theft and i sent my police report to EX and they in fact deleted the items in question as well as forwarded my info to the other 2 cra and they deleted the same exact items as well.
