Inaccurate item removal

I disputed a federal tax lien on my TU credit report. I got written confirmation from them the other day that says it was removed. How long will it take before it reports that way to my credit file? Will my score go up and if so how much do you think?

If TU directly sent you a confirmation that it was deleted, then it is deleted now. If another party, like the govt', notified you that it was being deleted, and having no experience in removing liens, then I'd guess wait it out 30 days. YMMV based on score change. Depends on your other baddies, scoring bucket, etc.
