Incomplete info on reports

I had a medical collection (Paid) I disputed along with a bunch of others that remains.

For some reason on Exp it shows the name of the agency, but on Experian it shows "905yc00000" (MyFico) and TrueCredit it shows no name at all. I am wondering how they can provide such incomplete information. A bunch of other lines are 'Not Reported' including somehow Amount Due and Balance. How can those be Not Reported on a Paid Collection?

Also if the Collection shows date opened as 7/06 but the account was delinquint as of 2004 is that a 2 year old or a 4 year old collection? Shouldn't there be some information reported that shows DOFD so that the Collection does not look like it is for a recent debt?

Similarly I have another Paid Collection (which I have contacted Experian about), it not only shows Balance as Not Reported and Due as Not Reported, it shows the account as 90+ Days late as of December 2007, even though it is listed as a Paid Collection and even though it was paid in August.

Seems to me that should be a dispute, i.e. Incomplete Information. I mean if you are going to report, ALL the relevant information, including the information in your favor like, say, ZERO Balance and ZERO Past Due should be included.

Re: Incomplete info on reports

Please do not take this as advise, but it is what I have experienced:

Smaller local CAs do not report accurate status to CRAs, especially in the medical area.  Disputing the entire paid debt as incorrect with the CRA online can be succesful because the CA will not validate it at all.  In fact, if you call the CA, thjey may very well say on their vocie response unit "if you have a paid collection showing as unpaid on your credit report, please dispute it with the collection agency directly."

Again, this is not advise, just experience.
