6 Months of HARD work has paid off...

July 2007: Purchased a brand new car after graduation: 07 Lucerne: 18% ...OUCH.

Sept 2007: Looking to buy a home: My friends realtor advised that she could not help because of my scores.

Jan 2008: New townhomes were being built and I was very interested.

Feb 2008: Participated in counseling and my scores were  414, 457, 493.

Feb-Aug 2008: Did any and everything that I had to do to increase my scores and there are more things to tackle.

Aug 2008: Scores are 587, 643, 659 w/ 50% Utilization and 1 late to be removed.

Aug 2008: Pre-approval and will put lot hold by the end of the week @ 6.25% FHA thru PHFA.

Aug 2008: Refinanced car @ 7.49% with a CU in the area of where my new house will be.

Trust and belive that anyone can do it. I am not perfect or the smartest but I had faith and I made it happen. You are have to remian persistent, focused, and driven.

The reason I wanted to share my story is because when I first started on myfico.com I tried to find success stories that fit in with my situation. That was important because it gave me insight on what I was capable of doing. Everybody has a different situations but they all kind of tie in together.
