What do you mean "report"? If you still owe them and don't pay then I'm sure there is a great chance that either them or a CA will eventually report it.

Re: Insurance and crdit report

About a month ago I got auto insurance .. a new policy for auto liabilty for my old farm truck with direct general insurance .. Well I found it was cheaper just to put it on my orginal policy with livingston insurance.. So I did.. I got a letter saying  I got a letter saying my insurance company cancelled last week because 91-Finance Company Request..  .. Do i owe anything to this finance company by cancelling early .. or should I call them and tell them the circustance that I found it cheaper thru another company...

I would call the insurance company's customer care and find out exactly where you stand.

Re: Insurance and crdit report

I called them and asked .. Iwas told that they do not report to the credit bureaus.. I got a name and number of the person I spoke with and I wrote all info down.  So no problem ..

Re: Insurance and crdit report

I would get them to credit your account or pay off if you owe debt. My fiend had a company that said no they don't report but then sold it to a company that did report a collection after. Just something to think about.

Re: Insurance and crdit report

The insurance company may not report, but that doesn't mean they dont' sell/assign their delinquent accounts to a CA who will report.

You need to ask if there is a balance due on the account for early cancellation.
