Intent to sue Asset Management...Where to Start?

I had a collection with Asset. Paid in settlement, Later found a HARD inquiry on Experian.  Sent them Three letters, CMRR to remove inquiry cuz, I did not ask them for credit and did not seek employment with them, therefore they did not have PP, and violated FCRA.

Their response each time is they are reporting Fair and Accurate info or May take 90 days to update info, but never asknowledge the HARD PULL!

I want to SUE these clowns!

I have the time and means to do this,  but I need to start NOW!  Just on principal I want to do this! Plus $1,000 would ne niceSmiley Tongue

Are there any threads on this board pertaining to this?
I can start with the FEDERAL courts or STATE courts?
Anyone with any success on this?
Any links that you can recommend?

I tried the search feature, on the upper left but got only threads of THEM suing us.

Re: Intent to sue Asset Management...Where to Start?

google "Pacer".  You can access the US Court system free for a day, do a search for "Asset Management" and you will be shocked at how many people who have sued them.  You can see and download the whole case file for .08 cents each page. Many pages are irrelevant.   But to save money,  only pull the "complaint" to see what the plaintiffs are suing for and to see how it is drafted.  You could also pull the "answer" and maybe the "order" or "mandate" to see the final outcome.  Sometimes you have to go through the whole file just to get an idea on what you can expect.

The 3rd line is direct to the login for pacer.  You will need to register, it won't go into effect until tomorrow, but it has an instant log on for today.   It should walk you through the log in.

When you register, where it says "firm name" just put your name or anything you are comfortable with --
