About a month ago, I sent GW letters to Chrysler and Everhome Mortgage for my hubby. Everhome was just for one late payment that was made in a 30-year term mortgage - they removed it. Chrysler was a total of 5 late payments on two different vehicle loans - with two other vehicle loans from them in an 8 year history - they removed all lates.
So, being very excited about my success, I decided to wrote GW letters to every single negative on both our credit reports. Hubby had a total of 4 derog accounts (because of a divorce) with perfect credit otherwise (with a 30 year credit history). I had a total of 4 derogs from 3- 6 years ago (all paid).
I sent out all the letters last week. The last one that I sent out was this past friday to Equity Residental - it was actually mailed on April 18th. It has only been 3 business days - the letter had to go from AZ to TX. I pull up hubby's true credit report this morning, update it, and that particular account was completely deleted from Experian! His EX score jumped up 17 points! It never was on the TU report, so now it only remains on EQ.
Is it possible for this to be deleted this fast - or is it a fluke?
