Is there a point in trying to get a paid Charge Off removed by contacting lender

So, short story long, about a year ago I had a dispute with a leasing company over $231 that they claimed I owed them even though I never saw convincing evidence of the fact. I missed the last warning letter and next thing I knew it was in collections. I didn't know anything about credit back then so like an idiot, I panicked and paid the collections company.

Now my auto FICO's are screwed. In one case 60 pts below my FICO 8 from the same CRA.

My question is this, would it make sense for me to contact the leasing company and offer to pay the full amount (even though I've paid the collections company a partial amount) if they would agree to mark my accounts as 'Paid as Agreed' once they received the funds.

If it does make sense, what department should I ask to talk to? Collections? Billing?

Any advice would be greatly appreciated. Thanks!
