Way back when, I had a string of lates because I was forgetting to order checks, mail payment, or even worse, ran out of stamps, bought them 60 days later. I didn't even know there was such a thing as credit score and I found out when I needed to buy a car.
It was a no go without cosigner, and I thought it was forever.
No excuse other than being young and lazy.
