Is this normal?

I had a 23 point jump in my EX score. The only thing that changed were 4 student loans coming out of deferral and I made the first payment. 23 points for deferrals? Or 23 points for the update showing paying as agrees? I am confused. Also, I am scheduled to go back to school in May... so they would automatically be deferred again, which doesn't have to happen (but I think it automatically does) because I can afford the payments, but will it lower my score if they are deferred again?

Also, I have a question about them, are they part of your util or is util only CC? They are technically student, installment loans so I was just wondering how they are considered. It wouldn't make sense to me for them to be considered as part of the util. Isn't util more revolving credit?

Re: Is this normal?

Were they at 100% UTL prior to making a payment?

I got a little bump when I got my student loan off 100%.

So the answer your question- yes installment loans have UTL that FICO factors in- the number of points is quite small-

I would put part/most of those 23 points to aging-

Re: Is this normal?

Yes, they were at 100% util. They are anywhere from 3-4 years old, so the aging does make sense.
Thanks!
