JCrew credit card - No use for it

So I went on an app spree a few months ago with the shopping cart trick. I applied for express, Buckle and JCrew - All approved for $250 to start. I've used Buckle and Express only once. I'm trying to find a use for JCREW, but $49 for a pair of cashmere socks?? On sale, marked down from $69??? Really???? JCrew is a bit ridiculous! I don't want to close it though, because I'll lose the small CL.

Funny thing is that I've never used the JCrew card but that card is the only one (of the three) to bump up my CL to $550 from $250. I think they are trying to entice me! Lol. But I'm not spending $49 for a pair on socks, or boxers! Crazy!

any ideas?

In my wallet: AMEX BCE $18k | AMEX ED $19.5k | AMEX EDP $10k | AMEX BCEP $10k | HEFCU $10k | Discover it $8.8k | Capital One QS $9k | Chase Freedom $4.5k | Walmart $3,200 | JCrew $2,350 | Chase Slate (AU) $22k.

Apply for cards that you need/want.  Don't just apply to obtain cards.

Re: JCrew credit card - No use for it

Put it in your sock drawer and act like you never knew it.  I agree..J. Crew is ridiculously expensive.   If you can max out your card on 5 pairs of socks....you know that's plumb absurd.

Act like you bought those pair of socks, and treat the card as such...in the sockdrawer!

Re: JCrew credit card - No use for it

Do you have a J.Crew store in your area? If so, you might consider making a purchase at a store (or online) and then returning your purchase (whether made at a store or online). That way you've given the card some use, but you aren't out anything.
