Judgment Status

Does anyone know what the status ( P - Pending ) mean? I paid off a judgment in 2010 and the status went from unpaid to this new status instead of going to paid. I appreciate any feedback thank you.

Re: Judgment Status

I would guess that, based on the issue being a public record, there may be some issue as to accepting any reporting being made, and they are wating to enter the reporting until they sort it out.

Public records are often reported based on a third-party review of public records, and thus the furnisher may not be the judgment creditor.

Thus, they may have an issue with the authority of whomever has reported to update prior reporting of another.

I would call the CRA and inquire as to why the updated reporting has not been entered.
