Judgment on TU thats not mine

I have a Judgment marked paid on my TU report that is killing me.Its not mine.  I did the online dispute a few weeks ago and they came back with no change to the report.

While I was waitting for the results on the dispute called the creditor. It took me several calls till they agreed that my SSN was not on the account. How could TU still keep it on my report? What it the fastest way to get it off. Its killing my score!!

Re: Judgment on TU thats not mine

Go to the courthouse and get a copy of the judgement and mail it to the CRA with proof of your identity.

Re: Judgment on TU thats not mine

Ok I contacted the compnay that filled the Judgment they agree that the judgment is not mine. But they will not send me a letter to that fact.

What do I ask for at the court house? Why will they give me info if its not mine?

Re: Judgment on TU thats not mine

I am going through the exact same thing, except Equifax removed it immediately! I went to the couthouse and showed them the docket # thats on the report and asked for a copy of the judgment,
they need a number from the judgment to look it up, print off your credit report and take it with you or write down the docket#. -joinme

Re: Judgment on TU thats not mine

Why do the CRA job?  Send them an  MOV   CMRRR      Almost every courthouse never report....there are 3 party co. that do the reporting. With an MOV  the CRAs are by law to give you the 3rd party  name and address..........they usually just send a form letter (we do da da da) everything is autommated..........BS   that is not an answer and now they are in violation........next letter make them delete.    make changes needed and sent fax or CMRRR     yes you can sign this
