Just got married ... about to apply for a credit card!

Wife and I are about to apply for credit card and use it for our expenses and pay off the expenses each week from our Checking Account.

We are both well disciplined to do this!

She has a far better credit score than I do .... I had a bad history of late payments and what not the last 3 years.  I have cleaned up my act and paid off bills and only have one CC, but of course my core is low and that history still shows on my report.

My question is .... is it better to have her apply for the card and have me as as authorized user?

I'm afraid if I apply it will be denied!
