Hi all,

I was approved for a Kay credit card over the weekend for $1500.  I called customer service this morning to see if they could reconsider my credit limit. I was told I had to wait at least three months. I asked to speak with the credit department but was told they don't take calls. Does anyone have and EO number or email? Or a number for there credit department?

Are you looking to actually buy something that is more expensive than your CL?

If so, if you go to the store the sales associate will call the credit department with you there and you will see a CLI at least enough to cover the item, if your income supports it naturally.

You can ask for a higher limit then the amount of purchase, assuming you qualify. I did a similar thing at Jared's which is the same company, Sterling, and told them I didn't want it to max out my credit line so I needed $15k. They granted it, but to be fair, I was already at $10k when I asked.

Yeah I'm looking to buy something that's going to be more than $1500. I'm going to the store in the morning so I'll check on that.
