Lender say they can't pull a credit score

I don't understand. I tried to lease a BMW through BMWFS, an my application was denied. They told me that my file is blocked an they cannot pull a score. I have scores through 3rd party places but not from lenders. It's was strange because I even called all 3 credit bureau to see if there was some sort of identity theft. None are listed. I even went to a 2nd dealer. Toyota financial. They said the same thing. SMH. For the life of me, I can't seem to see what's the problem. I tried to buy my "Experian Fico" from here an they said the same thing. There is some sort of block or something cause they can't pull a score. Strangely enough, my Discover IT had given me a score every month thus far. It currently says I'm at a 671. How can I get scores from the credit bureaus, an through cap 1 an Discover but lenders can't pull my file? I currently have 1 collection account on TU an Experian from 2011 (traffic ticket). so I know I have credit. I have a auto loan, that only reports to Experian. I have 1 shared secure loan with a local credit union. I also have 3 secured credit cards now. Bank of America 123 cash rewards, Cap 1 an Discover IT. I know on credit cards my file is only 4 months. According to Cap 1 score tracker an Equifax Web site my TU credit file is 11 years 9 month. I assume this is only because it says I have 2 closed installment Ac from way back when... can you guys please offer me some advice how I can obtain a score through my cards but not through lenders please. Thanks in advance.

Re: Lender say they can't pull a credit score

Discover and CO use TU.  It sounds like the others may have attempted to pull based on other CRA's?  You really just have to get more details on where the block is, why it's there and then contact the appropriate parties to address.

Have you only had active accounts (not just credit cards but any accounts) reporting to Experian and Equifax for 4 months?  That might be the problem as 6 months is needed to generate a score.  Maybe you have 6 months active on TU and not on the others?  Again, you'd have to verify.  Pull your reports if you have not reviewed them recently.

if your listing starting scores in 8/14 and show a 0 on EQ, then I assume you just don't have actual FICO reports generating yet as it takes 6 months of active accounts.

Re: Lender say they can't pull a credit score

According to score sense my starting scores were TU 540 Ex 534 an Eq 0. After I got my secured credit cards an remove some of my baddies I sstopped using score sense scores. When I got my Discover IT card they gave me the secure version because I had no equifax score. At least that's what they told me. Now that I have discover, they have been giving me monthly scores with my statement. Just in the last month I have went from a 644 to a 671 as of today . As for equifax, I got a vantage score from them of a 645. As for Experian, I haven't purchased a vantage score in a while but credit sesame has me at a 625 fako.

So you think once I get to 6 months I may have an actual fico score? I have contacted all 3 bureaus an no blocks.

Re: Lender say they can't pull a credit score

No, I have not had any of my cards 6 months. My oldest card is BOA at 4 months November. Discover at 2 months an Cap 1 at 2 months.

Re: Lender say they can't pull a credit score

So do I disregard the Discover It fico? An once I get 6 months in, I will get a fico for Experian?

Re: Lender say they can't pull a credit score

As you previously had an installment loan, you have been on file for over 6 months and you have a FICO.

It sounds like your EX or EQ are frozen. Try calling hem and asking.

It has nothing to do with fraud. Just say I tried to apply for an auto loan and they couldn't pull, is my file frozen?
