Length of time for something to show up removed from Credit Report

Hello,

I recently went through hell with a collection agency to get something removed from my credit report.  After month of phone calls, e-mails etc, they admitted it was their fault due to a medical billing technical error and that the collection account of 47 dollars would be removed from my credit report immediately.  Well, this was two weeks ago and still nothing has been removed.

I am wondering what is the usual time for something to show up removed from a credit report if the creditor themselves decide to remove it?

I don't want to bother the manager at the collection agency about this because I know how they are.  But, if there is any reason to contact her again because of an "error" I would liek to know so now so I can fix this issue as soon as possible and go ahead with my home purchase!

I'd give them a couple more weeks. Some CAs only update 1x/month.
