Locking TU and EQ?

What's the best way to lock TU & Equifax? Call them I assume?

2 time last year I was contacted by an issuer concerning reports of fraudulent activity from halfway across the continent.

@Credit4Growth Wow!! It's redundant though. as long as you freeze, you have statutory protection; the locks offer no real protection.

At the time of my initial Freeze I did not understand the differences between the two 🙃...

Now I just do both out of habit and they also serve as a mental reminder to assist with keeping myself in the garden.

 

When I've had an impulse to app for SUB or just because... I have found it at the least time consuming not worh it to look up the pins to unfreeze my credit.  I do not remember them by heart as it has been over 1.5 years since I have applied for anything.  Especially since during the entire time period I have been test driving new vehicles and car shopping for a family SUV that I can see myself in as a n everyday driver.
