Lost, stolen, transferred or sold accounts

Does anybody know if a transferred or sold account is factored in caculating the credit score?  I have a transferred closed account on my Experian report.  The creditor that the account was sold to deleted its tradeline.

Should I try to get the tradeline taken off?  If its not affecting my score, I want to leave it alone.  I don't like dealing with Experian.

thanks for your reply

Re: Lost, stolen, transferred or sold accounts

If an OC sells or assigns a CO then the OC can report 7 - 7.5 years from DOFD. It doesn't matter if it is paid or not.

If assigned to a CA the OC will report a Bal owed. If sold then they would report a Bal of $0

When a CA is involved then it is up to the CA to delete or not. The CA has no control over the OC.
