In your oppinion / experience, which company would offer the lowest rate on a large loan
Say $25k - $35k loan amount at a (48 - 60) month term.
(Lending Club, Prosper, Best Egg, Discover, others)
I know it varies depending on credit and other factors but in general, which company
would more likely give the lowest rate???
I've been getting mail offers from several of these companys but right now lending club seems the most appealing based on the fact that they
soft pull.
The lowest rate I've been offered was Promise Financial at 6.2%, followed by Upstart at 6.99%. Lending Club was 16.55%. The highest was Avant at 35.98%. The kicker with these four is that all of them pull TU. The others - Payoff.com, Sofi.com, Prosper.com and BestEgg.com - pulled other CRAs and the rates were in the 20's.
but right now lending club seems the most appealing based on the fact that they soft pull.
All of them soft pull to check rates and amounts, so it doesn't hurt to check. Lending Club does have the advantage of using only the SP, though.
