I PFD'd the CA on a medical collection account before I knew any better. (The CA is reporting the account to the CRAs). In response, the CA sent validation stuff, but never responded to the PFD offer. Now, I'd like to make a PFD offer directly to the OC, but I don't know who to address it to. What is the title of a person at the hospital/OC that would be able to accept a settlement offer? Also, I think this hospital (and I assume most hospitals) contracts with a patient account service (PAS) to handle their billing stuff. Should I contact someone at the PAS office or do I need to send it directly to someone at the hospital.
