Medical Collection

Hello MyFico Forums,

I have a medical collection on my CR for 240 dollars that was paid to the OC back in June.  I pulled my CR yesterday and the CA is still reporting that the debt is unpaid!  I contacted the OC about an hour ago and someone spoke with the CA.  She said the problem "had been taken care of."  I asked her what that meant and she said the CA would update the account to paid!  

Should I attempt to dispute this record on my CR or start the HIPPA process?  

Someone please help me with this...

You want it deleted!!   Start the HIPAA process!  Opt-Out with the CRAs     This should be done for all collections.
