I have been working on my son's reports for the last 12 months, but, kind of put them aside as they have numerous collections including a BK7 from 2000. It was giving me a headache just trying to decipher. I disputed quite a lot of accounts that were included in the BK and some were deleted and some were re-aged and some just stayed, same ole, same ole!!!
Anyway, we pulled his reports yesterday - and, 5 medical collections from 2003 are gone from his reports. As of December 2007 they were still reporting.
I had disputed them back in July 2007 as they appeared to be all stemming from the same bill. They came back verified.
I recently noticed someone posting med collections report for 5 years - I think - for NY.
My son lives in Mississippi.
His score increased 30 points. Not much for 5 collections being deleted.
Is there a reporting time limit for Medical Collections?
