Re: Moving / Changing address for Credit Cards

Yeah, when I completed my move last year. Once the keys to my new place was in my hand I did the following which worked for me.

1. USPS - Complete a mail forwarding request to the new address or COA. USPS will also notify senders of your new address.(last up to a year and can be extended)

2. Notify credit card companies of new address.

and that's all, took maybe a couple months before everything was moved over to my new address and Credit Bureaus to update the change.

Congrats on the new place 007! Notify USPS, then update with lenders. Everything else will update from those two sources.

Are you still in the same area near the bay?

@ChargedUp, Temporarily .. until my house is finished in Telluride, Colorado.

By the way it was supposed to be finished by Christmas. Due to materials delay, probably another 6-8 weeks.

Here is what the finished product will look like, I used the same plans. https://i.imgur.com/NEJgPHs.png
