Hello members,
Hopefully someone can help with this odd scenario. Every month I pull my FICO 3 report file, and I noticied a discrepancy on one account between what MyFico is reporting and what Experian is reporting.
I filed for Chapter 7 on December 20th 2017, and received my discharge March 26th 2018. On the MyFico 3b pull, under Experian the account listed for Kohls/Captial One shows closed and IIB, but under the 2 year payment history it shows the account being charged off March 2017, then an "ok" status until March of 2018, where it shows "charge off". On my actual Experian credit report, it shows "charge off" on March 2017 then no data thereafter.
There should be no reporting history after my file date of December 2017, but the way MyFico has it listed, it's showing that I have a charge off after my Bankruptcy discharge, and is further impacting my scoring under "time since most recent delinquency".
If Experian itself is reporting correctly, how is the dtata being skewed from MyFico?
Probably a bug in the parsing of the report.
Score shouldn't be impacted though, the score is calculated by the bureau still even in the CMS here.
If you don't mind working with the support team here, I'd feedback that point to them.
