Myfico same as Creditcheck?

Those who have Creditchecktotal I know they also use Fico are they the same? To me they do report the same. The reason I am asking since the recent update my TU score did update and when I got a new report it went back to my old score I did call Myfico they told me something must have made it negative. Well I don't have any negatives at all my Util went down from 50-20% so it should have bought it up. Anyways I pulled a new report on creditchecktotal and there Fico score match same for Exp and EQ except that my TU is showing 697 which what it should be but on myfico is showing 655 since the last reports it should have been 697 since the alerts say that. I wanted to Recon an app but not sure which is right or wrong but I do believe myfico is incorrect.

Oh look at that LMAO! for two days I've been worried about this and just as I made this post I got an inquiry and poof now its at 697 >.< I was right all along but they didn't believe me at least I should hopefully get a refund for the report I purchased.

Re: Myfico same as Creditcheck?

I've been going through the TU yo yo weirdness for months. It is NOT an issue with MyFico, because I've run in to it through other sources. The problem is on TU's end.

They both provide FICO 8's but myFICO does provide periodic access to other FICO models as well.

Whatever model and CRA were used by the creditor are the ones that matter for the decision.  Not all creditors use FICO 8.

Re: Myfico same as Creditcheck?

This is personal preference but I was with myFICO and switched to CCT. After about a month I decided to switch back to myFICO. I just like it better and really don't know why, lol. As far as I could tell my scores were the same on both sites.
myFICO=EQ 702, TU 716, EX 743br>EQ=11//TU=15//EX=11/Util 14%. Gardening since 01/02/2017.

Good thread.  I was thinking about searching for this question earlier, and happened upon this just now.  I seem to remember another board a little while ago reading some thread titltes about people being bitter at CCT, but at the time I didn't care why they were bitter...it was like those Geico commercials, "It's what (they) do".  Smiley Wink

If it indeed truly came down to preference, might getting 50% off after you go to cancel CCT give it reason to become prefered?  Wait, I just remembered where I was posting and am not sure if I should say that. Smiley Happy  If it matters, I am currently a member here for at least another month or so, but am considering my options.

I guess that leads me to a question of my own.  How tied to a subscription here is the usage of this forum?  I didn't start posting until I had already purchased a product, so I don't know.  I appreciate the OP as well as everyone else's posts.

I don't have a subscription -but I'm in these forums daily!    One has nothing to do with the other.......(PS I have CCT for now)

Thanks, I appreciate the info.  I've thought about switching the CCT after my 2nd month to save same cash(credit lol), but I definitely would still want to have access to these invaluable forums.  For me, they're becoming like a button a mouse keeps pressing to get cocaine in those studies and what not.  Smiley Wink  In other words, I quite enjoy them!

I also wanted to be respectful of the product, and have some idea if I had to always speak glowingly of it.  I do indeed enjoy it, other than the price.
