NOAH or anyone have a CA that is not licensed in my state

I just found that Palisades & Palisades Collection is not licensed in the state of Ct...what can i do other then report them to the state??

I also found Presido/CM... not listed at address on my CR. and not licensed here.

Can't send a DV if they aren't there.

Trying to figure a way to handle this my self with out being guilty of a crime my-self.

They were even dumb enough to verify.

I have all the ammo I need to have someone go to jail.

I do not feel guilty. Only because I have no idea what they are collecting for.

I have had CO drop from CR but non match the amounts on these CA.Also they do not have account #s.

I am sending DV to all 3. then I will have more info. to turn over to state

Kim, I started with consumer relations but because most CREDIT issues are under Banking rules & regulations I found it under DEPT.of  BANKING. I then typed in consumers collections. It isn't always easy finding some of this info. and legal crap makes no sense to me. I need it in layman language.

I have also gotten laws from State  Law Liabary.

I know where to find the info, but I can't tell you. Tell me a state, and I can give you the link to the lookup or contact info for the appropriate state agency.

BBB shows 3 addresses for Palisades. NJ, NY and PA.

I talked to someone with Ct. Banking Dept. She told me that Palisades collections = GARY STERN  201-567-5648.

I have nothing in writting YET. Sent DV CRRR Mon. 7/14.  I did get report from dispute that they verified with CRA.  BS.

The lady that I spoke to said ( If you do not get an answer within 30 days  and it still appears on CR OR the info. is incorrect to send everything to HER. The state will take over.

I never answer phone calls from any 800 # or CR (if I am in my right mind). I know how to record but I do not want to risk making a mistake myself.

I did answer a call 6-9 months ago. Keep in mind that it was 8:30 AM..This man had my name address SS#....I was not only sleeping but I had also taken pain meds. SO there was no need for me to ACT dumb I said that I had no idea what he was talking about. I had no idea who Prov----- was.When he asked if XXX-XX-XXXX was my SS#. I said I have no idea, I haven't used it in 25 years.

He then asked what phone # he had called....MY answer:  I am mentally incompetent to answer any question at 8:30 am, and if you do not know what phone # you called I can not help you!!!!! CLICK
