Is Experian slower to report? I opened my card June 23rd.
Equifax is reporting good.
Transunion is reporting it but it has a grey circle saying no info reported.
just eager for Experian to update, any info is appreciated
A number of members here have reported that Experian has been slow to update or report tradelines over the last few months.
I suggest you give it until the end of this month and if it still isn't reporting first contact NFCU and tell them it isn't reporting. Occasionally a creditor will screw up the reporting, so you should first let them confirm they are accurately reporting.
Once they've confirmed, you can open up a dispute with Experian with the leverage that NFCU has already confirmed they are reporting the account correctly, making it a lot more difficult for an Experian CSR to just try to blow you off.
EEGads i'm glad I saw this today. This has been irritating me, and I didn't realize I wasn't alone.
My DCU card took over a month to update at Experian. Considering it was a huge pay-down, that made me unhappy.
Not sure why they're so slow right now, but Exp has been REALLY slow with some issuers. DCU and NFCU seem to be my laggards on Exp right now.
It initially took me almost 8 months before my NFCU accounts were on EX. I didn't instigate anything because I wasn't concerned about it. It just took a while so I never asked why from either NFCU or EX. When it finally happen, my accounts hit on the same day (off statement) and provided all the appropriate aging and payment history all the way back to when they were opened.
