New To Fico...CONFUSED!!

Hi everyone...just wondering if I made a mistake by buying this kit. Is it true that I will not be able to see a change in my FICO scores UNLESS I purchase the scores again and again from the CA's??

This has me beyond frustrated...I thought the kit would monitor any # changes and the scores would adjust accordingly...

I am extremly confused!! Thanks for the help!

Hello and welcome!  I can only tell you what my experience has been.  I bought score watch and am always made aware of any change in equifax score.  While you will have to pay for the other scores, the imformation on this site and in the forums has been invaluable to me.  I am a single mom and plugged away at 1 and 2 point increases for the past couple of years.  In the last two months , my scores have gone up between 35 and 65 points depending on the credit reporting agency.  You will not believe how many options are open to you relative to making changes in your score.  MYFICO has been worth every cent in my case...........good luck!

Hi Curvy & welcome. I don't know what kid you have.  Most of us have different monitoring services for different reasons.....I use TC so that I can pull my CR every day and watch whats changing....I have SW to alert me to score changes ( TC scores are FAKO)....If I want FICO score I pay & pull from myfico. I am not buying any large purchase (house,auto) I have no need to have exact scores so I don't pull them.

Thanks Happy...I bought the kit from this site...it was 50.00....just thought it did more than it really does...live and learn!
