It's a good article, it gives the basics of what to do and what to watch for. 

There's a typo with the link in this sentence though:

Reminds me we got the babies social security numbers when they were very young. It was supposed to be the way to do it. They never had problems but after reading this article ... not sure if I would do it that early again?!

We got our kids' social security cards within a month of them being born. 🤷
