Newbie Questions

Like many people on here I just started repairing my credit and would consider myself a newbie.  They have some great info. on here and I hope I could have success stories like many others.  While in the process of sending PFD and GW letters, along with the disputes I'm doing, I would like to monitor my scores.  Is there any system like scorewatch that monitors all 3 scores, of course that is legit?  I have the Suze but, that wasn't what I thought it would be.  Another question I have.  I have one CC open right now and it is with HSBC.  It has been open for about 2 yrs without a late payment and such.  I would like to open another one could anyone give me advice to a good card.  Here are my FICO's:
TU- 630
EXP-633
EQ- 581

I have like 13 inq. in the last 2 yrs so I would like something that would be pretty sure on the 1st try.
Your help is greatly appreciated.

Re: Newbie Questions

HSBC should give you another card. (up to 2 total with HSBC)
I got a 2nd one from them a few months ago with 0% BT til March 08.

householdbank.com

Many of use use TC (True Credit) to keep an eye on everything from all 3 CRA's but ignore the FAKO scores and their "advice" is not that accurate.

Hi and welcome here!  I would recommend you sign-up with TC (Truecredit).  You can pull daily, refreshing all 3 reports.  Just remember these are meaningless FAKO scores.  Unfortunately, myfico only has monitoring with you EQ report and not the other two.  I would not apply until you get some solid results with your GW and PFD letters and the derogs are removed from your crs.  But if you insist try a Hooters card or possibly a WAMU card.  It has been reported by others at this forum they have been approved with similar scores.
