No Credit After Living Abroad for a Long Time

I have not had credit since 1989.  I have been living out of the U.S. since then.  Now I want to buy some real estate, start a business, buy a car and shop.  I need credit.  What should I do?  What is my FICO score?  How should I build the score up?  Thank you.

Re: No Credit After Living Abroad for a Long Time

You'd have to get your FICO from myFICO to find out what it is.  If you haven't had credit for that long then you may be in the same boat as other builders/rebuilders and may need to look at secured and/or credit unions with more lax approval requirements.
