No response to PFD from CA?

DV should go before any PFD.  Did you DV?

No, I didn't because I know the debt is mine and I am within SOL so I did not want to pi$$ anybody off before they agreed to PFD.

Uggghhhh! This is so frustrating, but I know this is the price I have to pay for $crewing up my credit in the past.

Do you know if the own the account?    If the OC still owns it you might be able to pay them

No, the OC has definitely sold the acct. (according to the CSR I talked to)

Do you think I should call the OC back and keep asking until I get a "higher up" person on the line who will accept payment in full?  It is for a payday loan from 2006.

I am trying to keep this from hitting my CRs.

payday loans..............many states have special laws   check your state.  There is also federal law on this.  Call the FTC  and ask. They will get you to the right dept. by transferring you or whats better  ask for the phone # and ext. to the correct dept.

Did you talk to the OC's csr    or the CAs

Yes, I have talked to the CSR at the corporate office for the payday loan. She is the one who told me the acct had been sold to the CA. I originally talked to the CA once (without mentioning the PFD and not verbally validating that it was my debt) because they called me at work and the hospital operator sent the call directly to me on a cell phone we use in the hospital. I did not know who it was when I answered the phone (no caller ID on this phone)

OK  check the state & federal law........send a DV  CMRRR  use the addy from your CR.

YES   you can DV any CA  after a PFD
