Help me understand this. An expected 130 million tax payers will get a stimulus refund. The notices will be sent to each person that is eligible for a refund. Sending a notice costs how much these days? Say $0.35.
130,000,000* $0.35= $45,000,000 per round of notices. So that's $95 million (two notices per person) to tell us that we are getting a refund?!?!?! Let alone the cost for the "team" to create the notices, edit the notices, print the notices, etc. How about just adding a few more pennies to everyone's rebate?
No wonder.......

Amen!!
I posted a message earlier ranting about Bush and this "generous" rebate for us little folk. One of the mods felt it necessary to delete the post, but I for one think this government could do more with proactive thinking and fiscal responsibility.
My rebate will either be ignored or deposited into savings. I'll stimulate the economy with my money, not this little insult of a rebate designed to keep the middle class quiet and happy.
I'm not buying it....
Rust never sleeps and neither does my fico score...
