When does the payment history for Nov 2014 show up on the credit reports?
It depends on when your statement cuts. Usually a few days after that. I am not sure which accounts you would be referring to without further details.
Oct 18 - Nov 17 is the billing cycle with due date on Dec 14. Does that help? Capital One Mastercard
It will report a few days after your due date. HTH.
I keep a payment ledger for all my bills and in the column for the "due" dates I actually have CUT/DUE & each creditor has the cut date & due date so I know just about when payments should post to the 3 agencies.
Due date is very important, but when watching for report updates, the cut dates are right up there in importance.
Within a week of your statement CUT dates is when they update the info to the 3 reporting agencies.
So what is the cut date for this account?

The cut date is Nov 17. Just to give an idea of when it might hit your report, one card I have has a cut date of the 14th. Equifax and Transunion reported it the same day, and Equifax does not give a date reported just the payment amount. Other accounts show up from a couple of days to a week later. Depending on how a particular account reports, Transunion might even show the payment on the date it was made, unrelated to the cut date. Hope this helps. Like so many things in the credit business, YMMV.
ok guys, thanks for all your responses but I'm still in the dark here...Capital One said they would remove my old 30-Day late, they said this about a week ago. If they actually did it a week ago, when will it show on my credit report - simple as that. Credit Karma is still showing the late and has not yet showed reporting for November. I'm assuming once I see November reporting I will know if they actually will stop reporting the late. Anything?

Reports on statement close and it takes the CRA's a few business to update. Due date is not relevant to reporting. Close for the following period tends to fall after the due date for the former period.

That's probably a different matter. It's possible that they may update on your regular report date but for removing a late it really just depends on how long it takes them to investigate and process the removal. This won't help much but it will show up when it shows up. You'd have to contact Capital One to see if they can tell you exactly when it would be removed. There isn't one fixed date for all creditors to report or even one fixed date for a given creditor to report.
