Now what do I do?

I am so mad I could spit bullets!  I had gotten Palisades collection removed from all 3 of my cr in March of this year.  Well guess what?  That same Palisades collection has reappeared on my equifax report! So what are my next steps?  Any help would be appreciated.

Re: Now what do I do?

Hi, if I was in your situation I would notify equifax reporting agency and ask them why this account has been placed back on your credit report.   This does happen when the account is under investigation and if they feel it is warranted that you owe this account it will be placed back on your credit report.  Also I would check the other 2 credit reporting agencies to see if the account has been placed back as well.  Good Luck and fight it all the way.

Re: Now what do I do?

If you search around on the forums some you may find more info about this type of situation.  I think if an acct is removed, the CRA is supposed to send you notification that it is being added back on 5 days before they do so.

Do you have a copy of your CR showing that it was there, then one showing it was removed?

Re: Now what do I do?

Yes, I have copies of of cr when the account was removed in March and I have a new EQ cr with account back on.  I have a strange feeling the account is going to make its way back on TU and EX also.

Re: Now what do I do?

Was it removed due to a dispute with the CRA or did Palisades remove the account?

Re: Now what do I do?

It was removed due to a dispute with CRA.  Just when you think you are making some headway and something like this happens and I feel as if I have to start back at square one again.
