OC reporting after settling

Can an OC (in my case First Premier) continue reporting after an account has been settled?  I settled an account in December 2007, and I have a statement from First Premier dated Jan. 2008 which shows a $0 balance with a credit for the $ amount they discharged.  It was never charged off, and I only dealt with them.  If you look @ my credit report below, you will see that they were reporting monthly as "ok" for 10 months after it was settled, meaning I was making monthyl payments, however I was not:

Hello--

Here's what my report looks like (taken a few days ago from Transunion--3 bureau deal).  I just noticed it's even reported as a CO on Experian (which I know is incorrect, as I settled w/First Premier & have a letter indicating the account is settled with them--it was never sent to a CA):

Two Year Payment History:

TransUnion :  Dec.2007-Aug. 2007 it says ok, then Sep. 2007 says 30, Oct. 2007 it says 60, then it says ok from Nov.2007-Oct. 2008

Experian :  Dec. 2007-Aug. 2007 it says ok, Sep.2007 says 30, Oct. 2007 it say 60, Nov. & Dec.2007 says ok, then CO in Jan. 2008

Equifax:  Only reported as 30 in Sep. 2007 & 60 in Oct. 2007

Any help?

Thanks!

Re: OC reporting after settling

It'll continue to report for 7 yrs from your DOFD or when the account went bad. If it didn't read as such, then it would be 7 yrs from the settlement date. It will report OKs for much of that period.

However, if it says anywhere that the account was settled, then FICO is reading it as a CO. If so, then I'd offer them a PFD on the balance difference to get them to go away.
