Old collection account that fell off

I have an old collection account that fell off because of the 7 yr rule. If a collection agency buys that account can they report it again?

Legally, no.  Sometime making them comply can be a pain - but a lawsuit (or a threat of one) will usually bring them inline.  LAwyers love these types of suits - pretty much slam-dunk.
