You should really reconsider getting the SSL from Alliant and do it soon. An auto loan is an installment loan and even with high scores it can sometimes be difficult to get your first auto loan without having prior installment loan history. They can refuse you the loan outright or use it as an excuse to charge you a higher interest rate.
