PFD letters-What next?

Okay I am new to this forum and I am loving it!!!

Recently decided to get my credit together and qualify for a mortgage so I am anxiously awaiting my membership in the 700 club by September 2008.

I have a couple of questions that I would love a response to:
1.  I have 4 PFD out there that were sent CMRRR and hopefully they will be accepted because I am giving them what they want.  They only total about $750 which I would definitely able to pay.  Once I pay them according to my PFD statement, how do go about checking my CR's to make sure they are off..Do I dispute them as "not mine", or "paid" or.......?

2.  Once these are all gone and finished how long should I wait to pull my FICO's again?

3.  I also have one DV letter out there which is on a CA that has been sold for the third time.  Do I keep DV the CA each time it is sold?

Thanks for your help!

As for checking your CRs, if you have a subscription to a monitoring service, you can update your reports and make sure they come off. You can also call after payment and ask the CA when they will be deleting and watch for it. If they don't remove when they say they will(allow a few days for the CRA to update) then you can dispute with the CRA or remind the CA that the letter they sent agreeing to delete is legally binding contract.

You can pull as soon as they are removed and get an updated FICO.

If they don't/can't validate, they can not sell it to another CA. They can return it to the OC.

Thanks for your help!
