Are you going to PFD the OC or a CA? Always DV a CA before going for a PFD.
If past SOl you have a better chance of not only a PFD but a PFD offering less then the full amount owed. If not past SOL they might try to get you to PIF....which will not help your scores. That is not to say that they will not accept a PFD. It just isn't as easy.
When are you past SOL?
